Training & Education
LA Emissary offers training and education for young people who have experienced homelessness across LA County and are now working with a network of 180 young people across 8 SPA teams to create and implement micro local and county wide practice and policy priorities.

Purpose
The purpose of the Training and Education program is to provide youth-centered education and training opportunities that can build skills and offer tools aimed at empowering young people to set advocacy priorities and to take actions to implement their priorities. SPA team participants are invited to all training and education offerings and are compensated for their time.

How We Work Together
Designed by youth for youth - The LAE Training and Education is designed in partnership with young people in the Training and Education Committee, support team and people with external subject matter expertise.
