About The Young Adult Pooled Fund Table
The Young Adult Pool Fund Table is setting a new path for investing in the homeless response system, led by young folks (ages 18-30) with lived expertise, in partnership with funders and providers. Collaborating with Watson Consulting Group, we allocated $1.6M for cycle 1 to support compensated Young Adult Collaboration and Housing & Services projects.
The Young Adult Pooled Fund Table is a vessel for young adults (ages 18-30) who are system-impacted to have the power to make decisions around funding to end youth & young adult homelessness in Los Angeles. The Pooled Fund Table is the blueprint for how young adults can choose funding priorities and allocate funds in public and philanthropic spaces. Young adults are equipped with grant-making skills and are involved every step of the way. Everything is young adult-led, from setting the eligibility requirements, creating the scoring tools, conducting the interviews, and voting on who will be awarded the grant. The Pooled Fund Table focuses on housing and services, young adult collaboration, and innovative projects.
